Toshiba Satellite M65-S809

Though Toshiba sells four different versions of its midsize, copper colored Satellite M65 laptop, all include virtually identical parts a 1.73GHz Intel Pentium M 740 processor, 512MB of fast 533MHz memory an integrated Intel 915GM graphics chip that lacks its own VRAM, forcing it to borrow up to 128MB of main memory.

The only differences among the four are in hard drive size (a big 100GB vs. an even bigger 120GB), Wi-Fi flavor (Intel Pro/Wireless 802.11b/g or 802.11a/b/g cards), and operating system (Windows XP Home or Pro).

A few things you won't get with the Satellite M65 are Windows XP Media Center Edition and a TV tuner for these and other cutting edge technologies, check out the more expensive Sony VAIO VGN-AX570G.

Otherwise, the Satellite M65 speaks loudly to home and small business users who want a solid multimedia laptop without the exorbitant cost.
