Experience The Superb Features of Samsung Galaxy S2

It is a well-known fact that the Samsung Galaxy S is often widely regarded as one of the best smartphones in the current generation. However, the launch of a number of new phones in the past two months has meant that the Samsung Galaxy S has been slightly overshadowed. So, in an effort to once again spruce up the high-end smartphone segment in which Samsung operates in, Samsung has decided to launch the Samsung Galaxy S2, the replacement to the current Galaxy S. A replacement for the phone that is regarded as the best should be highly features rich.

It was rumoured that the Samsung Galaxy S2 was set for launch at the MWC 2011, even though the details of the phone were not revealed. Now though, the details have been released and one can now take the look at the monstrous features underneath the new Samsung phone. This phone will be having a 4.3 inch or 4.5 inch screen. The final decision will rest on the testing results that Samsung has been carrying with both the screens. The HTC Desire HD has the largest screen currently and if the Samsung Galaxy S2 uses a 4.5 inch screen, then it would overtake it. It is expected to be using the same Super AMOLED display that is powering the current screen regardless of the screen size.

Samsung recently lost ground to the Nokia N8 as the best camera phone ever, but it is aiming to once again recapture that by launching this new phone with an 8 megapixel camera. This camera will be coming with a lot of features that will be taken from the wide range of digital cameras from the Samsung line-up. It will be having LED flash to aid in the night photography. Other features that can be expected from this camera include the likes of autofocus, touch focus, face and smile detection.

The RAM is also expected to be significantly higher than the RAM found in the Samsung Galaxy S at almost 1 GB. There is also the full HD 1080 p recording capability that is going to be in-built in the camera. The secondary camera in the phone is not exactly revolutionary and it will be the same 1.3 megapixel unit that is seen in most high-end smartphones. The phone will be having 32 GB memory card support, although the current internal memory levels of the phone is not known. The phone is expected to be announced at the MWC, which is set to take place in a few weeks at Barcelona.

he camera is expected to be powered by a 1500 mAh battery that remains unchanged in configuration from the Samsung Galaxy S. This batter will be powering the 1 GHZ dual core unit, although there are rumours that there could be a 1.2 GHZ unit as well. The processor is more than adequate considering that the phone will be having the 2.3 version of Android, which is also called as the Gingerbread operating system.
